Welcome! My name is Alex. This blog follows the adventures and misadventures of my life as an emerging museum professional, mom, spouse, amateur photographer, and wanderluster.

I recently graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Masters in Museum Studies and a Certificate in Digital Curation. I also have a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. I work as a contract research and production assistant for Balboa Park Online Collaborative, a consultancy located in the museum complex of Balboa Park in San Diego, California. I also volunteer as a collections assistant at the Coronado Historical Association. When I’m not working, volunteering, or up to no good with my 3-year old son and husband, I am writing about changing the museum world. Also note all images here are taken by me.
